Therapy for Anxiety

Understanding anxiety can be overwhelming, and it’s okay to experience it from time to time. However, it may become a problem when you find yourself worrying excessively, experiencing panic attacks, and/or being unable to stop worrying. My goal is to help you gain control and achieve your goals. I pride myself on providing personalized care and utilizing a variety of approaches to best meet your needs.

 

Treatments:

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is an excellent tool to help you understand how your thoughts are impacting your anxiety. We can do this by learning how to identify negative automatic thoughts and learning tools on how you can respond and modify them. I’m here to assist you in developing healthy coping mechanisms to tackle your concerns.
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) can be an effective way to manage your triggers and boost your confidence. We’ll work at a pace that’s comfortable for you by developing a hierarchy of your triggers, so you can conquer your fears without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on mindfulness-based methods that connect your values with your everyday life. My mission is to teach you how to stay present in the moment and lead a fulfilling life.
